| Welcome to La Maison du Lac !
Ideally placed just a few kilometres from the A20 motorway and only 3 hours from Paris and 45 minutes from Limoges airport, the Maison du Lac is an oasis of calm and tranquility in the heart of the beautiful Creuse valley. Famous for it's connection with the author George Sand and renouned as the place where the impressionist painters holiday'd.
Each room has been decorated in an individual style and has it's own en-suite bathroom so as to provide total comfort and intimity.
Martine and Frederic offer accomodation in the old village boarding house. Typical of the ‘Berrichonne' style of house, and are sure that you will enjoy it's the charm and tranquility. The small ‘priest' garden with it's shady terrace is simply super !
Subject to prior reservation, Martine will be happy to make up a light meal of fresh local produce on your arrival (providing it's not too late!)
Terms
Prices are per room and are inclusive of bed & breakfast, sheets & towels and local taxes.
Each room has a double bed and en-suite shower room. Sheets & towels are provided and case of longer stays, are changed every three days.
A traditional breakfast is provided either on the terrace or indoors, depending on the weather and the time of year !
In order to distinguish us from an ordinary hotel, the minumum stay is of two consecitive nights. Apart from which, the area is so beautiful it merits more than a fleeting glance !
Prices per night: double room from: €80
Sorry, it's not possible to add beds in the room.
Evening meal by prior reservation only, includes an apéritif, wine, mea land tea or coffee. €25 per person. Meals are of no set style, it's 'home cooking' at it's best ! beginning at 7.30 ! Black tie isn't necessary !

| La Maison du Lac is a place for fun & relaxation in beautiful surroundings and of course we therefore expect our guests to be respectful of one another's privacy. For the same reason, while we love animals, we do not allow pet. Smoking is also not permitted in the guest room.
